Don’t drink alcohol or take drugs
Never drink alcohol or take drugs, before or during a journey.
Alcohol and drugs slow your reflexes and change your behaviour without your realizing.
After one drink, wait two hours before taking the wheel. It takes that long for your organism to clear the alcohol.
The law is clear: It is forbidden to drive with a blood alcohol level of 0.5 g per litre or more. For more information check out the site of
La Prévention Routière, the French road safety organization.
Be careful with medical treatment
Some medical treatments present risks during driving.
Read carefully the notice and ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
